Privacy Notice

Effective September 12, 2026

EntitleSignal is a private-beta development-intelligence service. This notice explains the information the service currently handles and why.

Information we process

For beta accounts, we process the email address attached to the account, a one-way password hash, server-side session records, invite records, saved searches, alert preferences and alert-delivery records. If you use the public contact form, we also process the name, email address and message you submit so an administrator can review and respond. Session records may include basic browser or user-agent information. Standard web-server and security logs may also contain IP addresses, request times and technical diagnostics.

EntitleSignal also structures information from public municipal planning, zoning and development records. Those source records can include names of applicants, owners, consultants or other parties when the public agency publishes them.

How we use information

We use account and activity information to authenticate users, operate saved searches and alerts, secure the service, diagnose failures, prevent abuse and improve the product. We do not sell beta-user personal information.

Service providers and external services

The service runs on infrastructure operated for EntitleSignal. Transactional email is designed to use Resend when enabled. The map uses OpenStreetMap tiles, so loading the map may cause the browser to make requests to OpenStreetMap infrastructure. Following an official-source link takes you to the relevant public agency or third-party public-record system, which has its own privacy practices.

Security and retention

Passwords are not stored in plaintext. Authentication uses server-side sessions and secure cookies in production. We retain account, saved-search and operational records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the beta, resolve incidents and preserve legitimate business records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Payments and advertising

The current private beta does not process payment-card information and does not run behavioral advertising.

Your choices

Beta users can ask the administrator who issued their invitation to correct account information, disable an account or request deletion of beta-account data where applicable. Some security, audit or legal records may need to be retained for a limited period.

Changes

This notice may change as the beta adds features, vendors or paid plans. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, notifying active beta users.
